・Safari Area

In the Safari Area, 1,200 animals of about 190 species are kept in a natural state, allowing visitors to observe the lives of animals living according to their instincts up close. There are various ways to get around the safari area, such as by car, bus, or on foot.
The “Drive-Thru Safari” includes “My Car Cruise,” “Safari Bus,” “Safari the Ride,” and “Adventure Ride,” each with its own unique charm.
The “My Car Cruise,” which takes you around the area where the animals live in your rented car, is a powerful experience!

The “Safari Bus” is the best way to see the park from a higher vantage point. The “Safari Bus” gives you a higher perspective of the park, allowing you to see the animals from the same vantage point as the larger animals! You may be able to see the giraffes that you normally can only look up at in the zoo!

If you want to get up close and personal with the animals, choose “Safari the Ride,” a 360-degree ride surrounded by cages. This is a new sensory attraction where you can observe the animals moving freely outside from inside their cages. You will definitely experience the thrill of being looked down on by the lions.

For a more realistic and wild experience, we recommend the “Adventure Ride. The moment the giant tiger jumps from the waterfall to the bus, you will inevitably get drenched! You can also feed the tigers for a limited time, so be sure to give it a try. The exclusive guide will take you on a tour of the sights, which is another great point.
The “Safari Bus,” “Safari the Ride,” and “Adventure Ride” are available on a first-come, first-served basis (no phone calls accepted), so if you want to participate, make a reservation when you arrive at the amusement park.
Children under 3 years old are not allowed to participate, so it is recommended to check the ride conditions in advance.

・Amusement Park Area

The amusement park area has about 35 attractions, including “Venus GP (Grand Prix),” a large roller coaster with the largest vertical loop in Japan, which is a must-ride for thrill-seekers.
The course is 1,040 meters long, the highest point is 40 meters, and the maximum speed is 86 km/h. The speed changes according to the volume of your screams, so you are sure to have a blast.

The soothing coaster “Imorinsu” is very popular with young children, as it can be ridden by an adult from the age of 2 with an accompanying adult. It has little speed or ups and downs, so it is recommended for challengers who want to experience a small thrill.
・One of the largest resort pools in western Japan: Aquaria

“Aquaria,” one of the largest resort pools in western Japan, opens every summer. There is a “Flowing Pool,” where you can relax in the flowing water, a “Nagisa Pool,” a beautiful beach-like pool with shallow water, and sliders!

Children will have a blast at “Pirates Kids Aquaria,” a water attraction for children, where a large amount of water suddenly falls from overhead and there are small sliders!

During the opening of the Aquaria, a 7-minute fireworks display is set off to music from 7:50 p.m., adding to the climax of the day’s activities.
Check the official website for the date. Enjoy a romantic moment while relaxing to the music and fireworks that color the midsummer night sky. Click here for the opening period of Aquaria and the date of the fireworks (official website) >>
・Skating Rink: Kaze no Shiro Ice Park

In winter, visitors can enjoy ice skating at “Kaze no Shiro” in the park. The skating rink can be used with an admission ticket to Himeji Central Park. In addition, with an attraction free pass, rental shoes are also free.
Twin-edge skating shoes (15-19cm) are available for a separate rental fee of 600 yen, so families with small children can enjoy skating together.â
With a safari, amusement park, swimming pool in summer, and skating in winter, you can enjoy Himeji Central Park all year round. More excitement awaits you than you can play with in one visit. The friendly staff will make your day special. Come and taste the charm of “HIMEJI CENTRAL PARK” that Himeji residents love so much.
