・Illuminaire Night Bar

The Illuminere Night Bar will be held on October 12 (Sun) and 13 (Mon) right in front of Sanyo Department Store, just a short walk from both Sanyo and JR Himeji Station.

For two special nights, the plaza in front of the station transforms into an open-air bar, where local restaurants, sake breweries, and craft beer makers come together for a lively evening under colorful red and blue illuminations in Myaku Myaku colors, celebrating the Osaka Expo. Enjoy delicious food and drinks while soaking up the festive atmosphere right in the heart of Himeji!

Local specialty “Himeji Oden”

You’ll find plenty of dishes made with local ingredients and menus inspired by Japanese culture. Around 7–8 vendors will join each night, including Free Spirits Brewing (craft beer) and Yoshiume Shoten (rice balls).

Don’t miss Harima Food Laboratory, offering sake along with local specialties such as hine-pon (grilled chicken with ponzu sauce) and chirimen (dried baby sardines). Grab a few dishes, share with friends or family, and try them all—it’s the perfect way to enjoy a cool autumn evening!

All food and drink purchases are made with tickets. Tickets are sold at the event entrance for 3,000 yen (six 500-yen vouchers). Pay with tickets at each booth according to menu prices (no change is given).

Stop by after shopping or while out exploring Himeji and raise a glass and enjoy local flavors—this is one autumn night you won’t forget!
