(A)Coin Locker at Shinkansen ticket gate
Easy access! Currency exchange machine beside!
110 lockers are located inside JR Himeji Station, right in front of the Shinkansen ticket gate. When you arrive at Himeji by Shinkansen, this is the closest locker to the ticket gate.
If you arrive at Himeji Station by JR conventional train, take the escalator leading to the Shinkansen boarding area. The lockers are located immediately to the left of the escalator.
Once you exit the ticket gate, you will need your train ticket or admission ticket to re-enter the station. If you do not plan to return to the station, use the lockers outside the station.

How to use
(1) Place your luggage in the locker, close the door, and turn the key on the side until it clicks shut.
(2) When removing luggage, turn the key and open the locker door.
Cautions
● Be sure to keep the key.
● When using the coin-operated lockers inside the ticket gates, a train ticket or admission ticket is required. Traffic IC cards cannot be used as admission tickets, and an admission ticket of 150 yen must be purchased.
● The first train to the last train is usually available from 4:50 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. Fees will be added after 2:00 am. Use is limited to 3 days, after which it will be kept in the custody of the management company.

(B)Coin Locker at JR Himeji Station North Exit
Located right outside the station! One of the largest coin lockers around the station!
Go out the central ticket gate of JR Himeji Station and turn right. There are 214 coin lockers located in the corridor to the right as you exit the North Exit.

How to use
(1) Place your luggage in the locker, close the door, and push the lock on the side downward until it clicks shut.
(2) Confirm that the number of the locker in which you put your luggage is the same as the number on the operation screen. When confirmed, touch the locker you placed your luggage in on the screen.
(3) Select the payment method from either the transportation system IC card or cash.
Transportation IC cards: Major cards such as Suica, ICOCA, PASMO, and TOICA can be used, but please note that you cannot recharge your card if the balance is insufficient.
Cash: 1000 yen bills and coins are accepted and change will be given, so there is no need to exchange money.
(4) Please be sure to keep the statement issued by the machine.
Traffic IC card: Touch the card to the IC card reader and a receipt will be issued when payment is completed. Be sure to keep the receipt as it will serve as a statement of use in case you lose your transportation system IC card.
Cash: If you pay in cash, a receipt with a QR code printed on it will be issued, and this will be your coin locker key; keep the QR code part so that it does not get dirty or get lost.
(5) When you take it out
Traffic IC card: Touch the used traffic IC card to the IC card reader to open the locker.
Cash: Touch the QR code printed on the receipt to the QR code reader to open the locker.
Cautions
● Please be sure to keep your receipt.
● The locker can be used 24 hours a day, and a fee will be charged after 2:00 a.m. The use of the room is limited to 3 days. After that, the room will be kept by the management company.

(C) Coin Locker at South Exit of piore
No need to worry about rain and wind with indoor lockers!
Go out the central ticket gate of JR Himeji Station and turn left. Go out the South Exit, turn left, pass the coin-operated lockers in the passage in front of Nippon Travel Agency, and turn immediately left into the building to find the entrance to the shopping mall “piore Himeji”. There are 117 lockers in front of it.
